I am so proud of today's lab - 5th scientists did a great job with questioning techniques and K scientists did a great job with observation skills ! Remember... OBSERVATIONS ARE DATA COLLECTED USING YOUR SENSES !! Ms D.;+)

hi ms.D my science partner was so cool but it was pretty hard at some points. i guess the kids need to get to know us some more. It was very fun in all but my kids just cannot rember ObSeRvAtIoNs

Hi Ms. D! My kindergarten partner actually listens to what I tell her to do now, but I know that she doesn't want to do it. The times I've seen her, one look at me and she groans. I know that she doesn't want to work with me. But hopefully when she's more open and she sees that science is fun, and enjoys working with me, my kindergarten partener will have a blast learning about science!

Anyhoo, I cannot describe my partener because for our only lessons I was either absent or my partener was. From our first meet, I could tell that she seems nice, but she is too shy. The day I had Jacob's partener I really enjoyed doing the lesson, and feeling profesional because of the lab coats.

My K-science partner was not at school today,so i worked with my friend Julian. His K-science partner was good with todays lesson.

The Marshmallow lab was great and my partner was very into the lab and he told me the marshmallow was very good. Im very happy you put this together for us i really like it.
I'm not sure how to calm down my partner because, he calls people ugly and fat and hitting people with pencils (including me).But the experience is really fun and,who's Gordon!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ms D. My partner is great he is soooo smart but im trying to help my partner not to write so big but overall he smart one day he might explore animals (because he loves them) or might become a great sciencetist like u Ms D

MY SCIENCE PARTENER IS GREAT BUT HE IS REALLY SHY.MY PERDICTION IS TO HAVE HIM BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND SCIENCE WHEN I AM DONE TEACHING HIM.HE DOSINT KNOW THE OBSERVATIONS ARE QUESTION BUT BY THE END OF THE YEAR HE WILL KNOW IT.SO FAR WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO WORK TOGETHER AND I AM GREAT WITH LITTLE KIDS SO I KNOW WE WILL SUCCEED.HE NEEDS TO GET TO KNOW ME MORE SO I WILL BUILD A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM AS A FRIEND.
I thougth it was fun in many ways. Like when we got to teach by our self, also i liked when we got to eat a marshmallw. My k -partner was alot better last week,he paid little more atention and he didnt talk as much.So i hope to acheive higher goals with my k-partner.
my sience partner (russle).he is shy so he does not talk much .so it is not that much fun because he dosen't talk .so that is what i have to say.
My k science partner is learning a lot about science! At the end o my lesson the marsh mellow was squished, because she was feeling it so much. I'm lokking forward to our next lesson!
I enjoyed writing the essay about our K-prteners today.
My K partner listned very good. My partner said that the marshmallow was pink with 2 yellow
spots. When he droped it he said it made a crack sound. When he wafted it he said it had no smell. When he felt it he said it felt soft. I had alot of fun working with my K partner!!!!!
Kendell is my partner she is nice but shy to do one thing . She i shy to waft her object I tried to get her to waft her marshmallow she was scared. Then I asked her what does it smell like she to a fast waft of it she said it smell like a marshmallow I asked her what does a marshmallow smell like she siad sugar because I gave her some options. Therefore If a k-partner has no idea what to descibe thier object give them some options.
I had a good expenerice with my kindegatren panther.some of the things I LEARNED was that kindergarten kids was so smart,thats why i like them well thats my story good by.
my science partner evan is a good kid , but he just is SOOOOO quiet. I didnt get to see him in the marshmellow lab so i dont know him very well. -_- But i hope seeing him in the next lesson..... by the way for the next lesson i think u should use marbles cause they have different designs
My K-Science partner is not comfortable around us yet. She is exellent at science, but very shy. Soon, she will get to know us better and we will get to know her.
My science partner needs to stop getting off task by hitting people with pencils. Even though my partner can be a little mean sometimes the experience is fun but, my partner can't seem to remember what observations are.And who's Gordon?!
My k-partner always likes to stand up and look around in the middle of the lesson. He is a realy good student but likes to stand up. He likes to use simple words like squishy and hard. Graham
this is TJ here. MY K science is a bit shy but really bright and nice! It was hard at the begining but you know kids, they dont know us yet but soon they will. remember this Ms.D OBSERVATIONS ARE DATA COLLECTED USING YOUR SENCES!!;D
In the marshmallow lab my kindergarden science buddy was able to write her own sentence. she was also able to make her own observations. she also could find her marshmallow in the dish of other marshmallows.

I thing that the potato lab was a fun because my partner was great at work . he is start to make good sceince opservation .
my k. student liked the marshmallow lab . she was great at it . mostly with the detais from her observations.
Dear Ms. D and 5th graders,
I learned a lot more today about you and your partners when I read your 5 paragrpah essays. You have some great insights into the skills of the younger students. I admire the goals you are setting for your work with them. Keep up the good work!
